Mission

Development of value added quality products using the modern techniques of processing and preservation with minimum wastage for improving the nutritional and socio economic conditions of farmers, tribals and weaker sections of society in the state of Madhya Pradesh.


Mandate

  • To develop technical manpower required for food industries to meet the national schallenges, bring transformations by value addition with economic returns to farmers to achieve nutritional and health security of the consumers.
  • To conduct research in the field of food processing of value addition of food crops
  • To create public awareness regarding processing and value addition of food crops in order to minimize the loss of food wastages during post harvest handling operations
