  2. Dr. L.P.S. Rajput, Professor undergone three months advance training on TILLING (Targeting Induced Local Lesion in Genome) and Molecular Characterization of Phytase Enzyme at Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Copenhagan, Denmark during 15th August to 12th November, 2005.
  3. Dr. Navindar Saini, Asstt. Prof., undergone one year advance training on SNP at University of Nebraska, Lincon, NE, USA funded by DBT, Ministry of Science and Technology, GoI, New Delhi for Overseas scholarship 2005-06 during March 2006-February 2007.
  4. Dr. Animesh Agrawal, Asstt. Prof. attended an “Advance Course on System Modeling” organized by FNFIN (Enabling System Biology) at Berlin, Germany during 25-27 April, 2007.
  5. Dr. Sharad Tiwari, Professor as ICAR International Research Fellow (Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India) on “Transgenic and Functional Genomics” visited University of Alabama, Huntsville, USA during July –Dec, 2004.
  6. Dr. Sharad Tiwari, Professor attended XI Annual Biological Science Retreat held at Monte Sano, Alabama, US during Sept 9-10, 2004.
  7. Dr. Sharad Tiwari, Professor attended and presented a paper at WOCMAP IV (World Conference on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants) at Cape Town, South Africa during 9-14 November 2008.
  8. Dr. Sharad Tiwari, Professor attended a Scientific Cooperation Meeting at Agricultural Biotechnology Centre, Godollo, Hungary during Feb. 8-15, 2009 sponsored by the EU-Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS).
  9. Dr. Sharad Tiwari, Director was a member of the Multi-country Observational Study Mission to Taiwan on ‘Applications of Biotechnology in the Production of High Value Crop’s during 28 June – 14 July, 2010 organized by Asian Productivity Organization, Tokyo, Japan implanted by the Council of Agriculture, China and Taiwan Agriculture Institute (TARI). Represented India and presented case study on “Biotechnology for “Production of High Value Crops in India”.
  10. Ms. Keerti Tantwai, Asstt. Professor went for “Research Planning and Discussion Trip” at Tsukuba Centre at Japan on 11-18th May, 2013 sponsored by JICA under the project on “Maximization of Soybean Cultivation in Madhya Pradesh.
  11. Dr. Sharad Tiwari, Director attended an International workshop on “Strategic Approaches in Evaluation of the Science Underpinning GMO Regulatory Decision-making” at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), Trieste, Italy during 1-5 July 2013 organized by ICGEB.
  12. Dr. Sharad Tiwari, Director participated as the Chairperson and at the III World Biodiversity Congress (WBC) on “Integrated Conservation Strategies for Threatened Biodiversity and Geodiversity for Global Sustenance” during 26-29 October 2015 at Mokra Gora, Serbia sponsored by Global Scientific Research Foundation (GSRF) and United Nations.

  1. Dr. Sharad Tiwari received Dr. Harbhajan Singh National Award-2010 of Indian Society of Vegetable Sciences for the Best Research Paper entitled “Regeneration of Cucumis melo L. through somatic embryogenesis and organogenesis from cultured embryonic axes” Indian J. Veg. Sci. 37(1):14-20.
  2. Ms. Reena Deshmukh, SRF, received Young Scientist Award the 26th M.P. Young Scientist Congress organized by MP Council of Science & Technology, Bhopal during February 28- March 01, 2011.
  3. Dr. Iti Gontia-Mishra, DBT-Post Doctoral Fellow was felicitated as Young Scientist Award in 27th Madhya Pradesh Young Scientist Congress conducted at Bhopal on 28-29 February, 2012. Her research topic was “Molecular characterization of Phytase producing fungi by 18 S rRNA and phy gene analysis’’.
  4. Awarded third in poster presentation entitled “Microbial phytases and genetically modified phytase crops save feed costs and improves environment” by Keerti Tantwai, Iti Gontia-Mishra, Lalit Prashad Singh Rajput and Sharad Tiwari in National Seminar on “Technologies for Sustainable Production through Climate Resilient Agriculture” held during 8-9 August, 2014 organized by JNKVV, Jabalpur

Mr. Sajjan Pooniya, PG student of Biotechnology Centre received the best poster award in the Intercollegiate Competitive events on Biotechnology with emphasis on “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” organized by Department of P.G. Studies and Research in Biological Science, RDVV, Jabalpur held on April 29, 2016.
