Mandate

• Developing State of the art in UG, PG and PhD degree programme with revised syllabus.
• Undertake basic, strategic, applied and anticipatory research in Plant Physiology and Medicinal Plants on need based location specific problems and developing technologies for crop management to sustain productivity.
• Screening of plants, tolerance to various abiotic stresses and assessing the mechanism of tolerance and development of alleviation techniques.
• Impart trainings and transfer of technology for effective adoption of agrotechniques, post harvest and value addition in Medicinal & Aromatic Plants.
