Mandate
Teaching
To produce students to take care of Soil & Water conservation, Irrigation, drainage
and natural resource management
Research Mandate
To contribute towards betterment of agriculture in the state in respect of soil
conservation, water resource management, watershed management, on farm water management
and adoption of efficient irrigation methods towards water productivity.
Extension Mandate
- To identify the gaps in the principle and practices for land and water management
and to minimize them through proper extension services.
- To study the present status of the contribution of soil water engineering in state
agriculture and to seek suitable solution to problem if any through collaboration
with the state and central institutions
